There’s construction happening. Actual, real construction. Amazon’s delivery station is operational with people working there right now. Culver’s is open. We’ve got Dunkin’ Donuts established, and now there’s another coffee shop being built out there. Gojo is here. Routes 250 and 71 look different than they did a year ago.

It’s the kind of thing you notice when you’re living here, but it’s easy to take for granted if you’re not paying attention.

Here’s what I think matters: When businesses that have options choose to expand or open in your community, it means something. It means they see something. They see traffic. They see stability. They see a market that’s worth investing in.

That matters for your home.

Not because of some spreadsheet metric or historical data point, but because of what it signals. New jobs mean new people moving to Ashland. New businesses mean confidence in the area. Confidence in an area changes how it feels, how it grows, and yes, what homes are worth.

I’ve been in this market long enough to recognize when a town is shifting. Ashland is shifting. And if you’re thinking about selling, the time to do it is when things are moving, not after everyone else figures it out.
